If you have a Home Depot nearby, for $28 you can get a Kill-A-Watt meter that will plug into the 120V courtesy outlet, it will accurately read volts and Hertz.
Most likely your gage or the frequency transducer that drives the gage is dead.
The kit to rebuild the IP is like $30 for the basic kit, or a little over $100 if you go with the upgraded metal governor weight basket.
If you only need to replace the umbrella seals that are leaking fuel into the crankcase, those are "external" to the pump and don't require any disassembly of...
You're not producing electricity by the looks.
Looking at your meter I believe you only have 334 millivolts, not 120 , 208 0r whatever you have it set on.
That would explain why your gages aren't reading anything.
Where were you measuring 187 Volts?
Are you following the start procedure in the...
I don't see any pictures, did you intend to attach a pic. of you measuring voltage?
It sounds like you ARE getting voltage at the lugs, so what do you mean by "not turning anything on"?
It's not powering your load or the gages are just not "turning on"?
Also, where is your AC board positioned...
Can you further explain where and how you are measuring voltage? Are you seeing voltage at the courtesy outlet?
And you get nothing on any of the gages, volts or Hz?
I assume you mean you have a load connected to the terminal lugs but you are not getting power to the lugs when you close the...
My first and only experience with LiFePO4 was pure disappointment, possibly due to my lack of knowledge about them.
I've got a john deere 425 garden tractor that has been engine swapped with a DN2M diesel from an MEP802A generator. There's no room anywhere for 2 batteries so I have been using 2...
Do the tests and determine if the issue is the gage, or most likely its the sending unit in the tank. If it's the sending unit, there are dozens of threads on here about replacing it with a marine style sender, 5 1/2" WEMA or Similar. Literally a drop in replacement other than splicing the 2 wires.
It's essentially adjusting the leverage of the spring that counteracts the force of the spinning weights in the governor. If you make it too sensitive the engine speed will surge up and down because the governor overshoots its mark and then quickly reacts in the opposite direction, this cycle...
I can confirm it will work. I'm using that style synchronizing switch to switch between an 002 and 003, depending on anticipated load.
The best part is you can synchronize and switch under load, the original 002/003 switch box was not a synchronizer, it was only intended to transfer the load...
I would just have a new line made up. Like I said, 5/16 ( -5AN ) JIC female swivel ends, whatever length is necessary.
NAPA or one of the many on-line hydraulic supply shops will make it.
The hose is probably ~$20 plus shipping at the place I mentioned previously, for a brand new one made to order.
Maybe I should rephrase, I was wondering if you tried putting a water separator into the original ( left most ) water separator canister on the machine?
Also wondering if it actually has any functionality as a water separator, as it looks like a plain filter element.
You're going to have a hard time finding a replacement. But you can easily have a new on made up.
Go to www.discounthydraulichose.com and use the hose builder to order a custom made hose.
Use 5/16 hydraulic hose and select the ends you need. I think they are 5/16" JIC female swivels on both...
Do you have the dead crank switch in the normal position and the red E-Stop button pulled out?
It sounds like you don't have power to the control panel.
Do the fuel pumps run when S1 is put in the prime/run position?
They are available direct from Cummins on line but $4 is probably pretty close to the going rate.
Equipment parts sales gets $4
Cummins seems to be $5.50
GMG is $15.20 ( insert you own joke here )
The injection pump may have a problem, but that would not prevent fuel from coming out of the return lines.
Start by making sure you are getting fuel to the inlet of the injection pump.
Being that the machine has been sitting with the fuel system open to the atmosphere you may also need to do...
