    Turn signal wiring

This might help. It's in the TM shown below. With out the wire tags, this is going to be a fun puzzle... BUT doable. TM9-2320-280-20-3 and TM9-2320-387-24-2 both have full schematics at the end of the manuals. Google them or at the top of this HMMWV forum at TM's OK... I said it , TM CAMO

    Speedometer help

You asked... so here's my 2 cents. Get a grip (easy... not honking vice grips) on the brass spinnnnie part and wire drills # 80, 70, 60, etc . Hi speed Dremel tool and perform a "root canal" 🦷on the little bugger. Let the tool do the work. Don't be in a hurry. Step up hole to next size...

    Humvee won't start

Back to my post #10. Cut-off solenoid clicking (proper activation??) No fuel at return line now. Lift pump substituted and still no flow? This is pointing to IP ?? but last hooray check for fuel at pump input. Never read that fuel filter was serviced. Any chance there are check valves...

    Humvee won't start

No fuel at injectors... OK. You said that. Not a directly related question. Is the WAIT light and voltmeter tracking Glow Plug action? Just a follow along question from the peanut gallery. One is not there yet and don't know your outside temperature should fuel show up at injectors. Pass...

Anyone replaced a rear fender on a HMMWV?

And a couple handful's of CLECO's and some body seam sealer. A little dab of goop and it will hold all night. Party ON, CAMO

    Humvee won't start

JUST a guess... Biased on data and NO red herring's... IP is not playing nice. Having just purchased it and with my luck, it's coming off and going for a ride back to TN. You need fuel (a very little showing up at the injectors) when turning over engine. Try at a few more times with a wait...

    Humvee won't start

Is your thumb calibrated to 3 to 6 PSI ?? I don't know ? So a guage would tell the real story. Flow too. Fill up a soda bottle half way in about 20 seconds of cranking. Now that's a test, LOL A lot of testing IM bs O... should have been done shortly after receiving said truck. Starting at...

    Humvee won't start

Power to the top...Good. Means nothing if solenoid is open, HI resistance, KAput. Did they re-build it for 24 volts? My free guess here. Double check for the 24 volts at 54 lead under load of solenoid. Pierce wire, tap in and test again. IMO and history reading here....Based on the...

    Parasitic draw- starter motor

" S3 box so there’s not much I can do at this point. " Yes there is. It also come out of the box on the body connecter. Disconnect batteries, remove body connector. Reconnect amp meter in line like before above and see what you read? S3 box does have a few microamp keep alive draw.... BUT...

Received 2002 M1097A2 for firetruck build - looking for advice

MOGMAN I think CAMO has measured the curve on that sending unit not sure but maybe he will chime in. I do have a question ?? Has the systems been flushed really good. I have seen rusted up systems with more crud, less coolant, lol I have a minute and searched past posts. Let your fingers to...

Is this all I need? M1097A2

Later trucks used a flex line, or so it goes. Made brake / pad replacement easier. Mine has a hard line with a 3-4 inch diameter coil of a 1 1/2 loop out by the caliper. Like the one on the left side. Don't have the P/N maybe left and rights. That the breaks from, CAMO

How To Repair HMMWV EESS S3

There's a good chance plugs are toast. Just replacing them and could have more toast. These cold mornings coming up and there will be a lot of toast on the HumV table. Other choices are pancakes, waffles or a muffin. Make the call, CAMO

    What Causes Fuel Tank Collapse?

Yes it is... But haven't seen or heard of this before in a HumV. Not saying it could not have happen this way. Those cheesy fuel pump lucky to draw fuel up... Just saying. To have that happen really sucks, CAMO

    What Causes Fuel Tank Collapse?

So... you are saying that the fuel pump caused the tank to for a better word.... imploded the way it did? That's a hell of a pump or a clog, CAMO

    Upper vs lower driver's mirror

Something doesn't look right. I don't recall the big "C" bracket that far forward? This shouldn't be that wack. Next question...where did one get the mirror? Snap a picture of the windshield brackets. Does mirror have a label, "Trash cans may be closer that they look" CAMO

    Registering in Colorado

What a bunch of BS is all I got to say. The last sentence should make owners feel good about governmental control. " The DMV apologizes for any inconvenience." What a way to start the day. CAMO

    Arrival of 2nd HMMWV M1151A1

That part is a circuit breaker. Don't normally see a breaker in that circuit. Trace it out.... Always something new, CAMO

When your TCM takes a bath...

A little footnote to computer's, microprocessor's, rom's & prom's when handling. Follow proper ESD procedures. Electro Static Discharge. The little static spark one doesn't see or feel and POOF... Time for more parts., now or later when they fail. 🎆 Nice video. Sparky the electron just...
