Here’s the “hoard” of electronics I found at various sales. This doesn’t include the military stuff that is temporarily not accessible. It’s hornet season in SE Wyoming and I’m allergic to their sting. Anyway I don’t know what is or isn’t serviceable. Probably best to plug each one in at a...
I’ve never heard of a Hamfest type event in SE Wyoming. There might be something down in Colorado. Due to there political issues I stay away from there. What I do have are yard sales, estate sales and junk shops. I’ve been collecting up stuff for my gun truck (I’ll try to remember to get some...

Sounds like my Dad’s cooking. Fried green tomatoes, green tomato jam, red tomato jam, pickles cow’s tongue/liver/heart, fried cow stomach (also known as tripe)…
Dad was born in 1929. The Great Depression hit right around that time. If it could be caught, they’d stick it into a pot. If it grew...
I was kinda partial towards beamy weenies and spaghetti. The absolute worst was ham and Lima beans. Just the smell of it would send people running for an outhouse.
I’ve seen some pictures of pancaked loads. Somewhere there’s a picture of a H-60 that was dropped. It was massively damaged! Various cars and trucks going splat, always a bit of fun. My lone “No shizzle, I was there stories” involved 6-7 pallets of the 1st generation of MRE’s (meals rejected by...
I spent the majority of my career working on UH-1’s, mostly UH-1N’s. I would give my left one to get a hold of a Huey, any model, any condition. Stashed around the nooks and crannies of my barns, I’ve got a few parts I acquired over the years. Think flying bench stock. I hated getting stuck...

A long time ago, back in 1986 or so, I was stationed at Hill AFB and we had some ancient power carts called MD3’s. They were capable of self propulsion at an underwhelming speed of 20 feet per minute or there about. The last one I saw was being towed behind an aircraft tug and was headed for the...
If you are concerned about them reaching out to you, there is a possibility of determining its ownability. The Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson AFB is my #1 go to for all such questions. Second option is find the stock number on the data plate. It can be used to research anything and...
Those trucks, if I recall correctly were supposed to be scrapped. The trailers were supposed to be scrapped as well. That was part of the START treaty that saw the removal of the Minute Man (MM) 1 and 2. All the silos except one were imploded, again as the result of the START treaty.
I spent 10...
Just finished up the 4th and final Cheyenne Frontier Days parade with my four M35A2’s. Lots of fun and lots of fans. The parade goers seemed to really like the War Wagon. Pics:
As far as I can determine, they were all painted gloss red. If you look at Untouchables, I believe they may have had the red mounts. Oops, it was Eve of Destruction that had the red mounts.
Having the layer of ammo cans allows kids to handle the guns. For the littlest kids, the parents climb up and hold them high enough to reach. How tall did you make the gun mount support tubes?
