Ran fine under load and they didn't use the cheapest available components. They did change the wiring to where it is always on when "RUN" is on, instead of stock where it's only on while the genset is running or you have battle short on. They deleted the stock 2nd fuel pump for auxiliary fuel...
On my latest surplus generator the county completely redid the fuel filter system. I've attached pictures. Posting this for reference if someone wants to do it to theirs. It is on a MEP-004.
Why not? The vehicle is literally no different than a regular k2500. It is not a 24v start system. It's just a regular k2500 truck with a green paint job and blackout light system. The 24v is for jumping other vehicles and radio equipment.
There is no TM for the CUCV II/III, they only had supplemental manuals. The LSSV program has more manuals, but I have attached the supplemental manual for the CUCV II series.

The rear has dual shock and external reservoir on the gmv. If you aren't putting a lot of weight in your hmmwv it will not make a difference in ride quality and is probably stiffer that your rev b. You have to add about 1000+ pounds in the back before the springs and shocks start to be more...
Easiest way to install and uninstall those is to crouch underneath and lift straight up flat against your back and walk it forward/backward. Looks like your has the b pillar posts in great shape.
The transducer and gauge on the 004, 005. and 006 are the same. I took a transducer off a 005 to fix this one. They are sold as matched sets with the gauge and transducer but I've found that it doesn't really matter. You are correct that the 002 and 003 are different.
Turned out to be the transducer. What threw me off is that my digital meter would show 60 hz but that is because it has it's own transducer so the voltage coming out of the transducer didn't matter.
I couldn't find any info in the TM regarding proper voltage coming out of the transducer. Now...
Just picked up some more generators (because I don't have enough). I have little reaponse on startup and no response when running with the frequency gauge. My digital handheld meter is saying 64hz out of the transducer and 64 hz at the mechanical meter, nothing showing on the meter. I have a...
Recently picked up a brand new OEM Warn HMMWV winch. Originally I thought it was for the front, but it turns out it's the rare one for the rear. It also appears to have twice the cable as a front 12k. The control to make it free vs engaged is on the back. Just putting these pictures here for...
