Not sure on the fuel return line with the braided cover is the same used here (sounds like it). Diesel shops (E pay sellers too) seem to think a lot of it. At first it seemed like the magic hose with no clamp needed per sales pitch. Those little GM OEM clamps on the injectors can be a tricky pain in the bottom...so let's give it a try.
The braid and overall size of the magic stuff does not allow for the GM return line clamps. I like clamps, old school, I guess.
The bad part is the braid feather out on the ends. Looks cool, not that it's doing much IMO. Never had the fancy braid stuff blow off, just splits, leaks and sometimes falls off. messing with the fuel mileage, not to mention smells and FIRE potential.
Two different suppliers, three different trucks, four leaks in two years.
