Bought 1994 M1097A1 (6.2l, TH400, NP242?) in October, EUC approved this month, picked up from Albany GA on 11 March. Had some rough parts but was recently pulled from preserved storage. She is starting to look respectable again. Just the curbside frame extension was damaged, look like they wrapped a chain around the bumper plate to tow it at some point. Replaced the RH frame extension, installed M1026 winch plate and a nice armored hood I got from Rob R at a price that made it not worth my time trying to work fiberglass on the original hood. The front left tire had sidewall damage, wouldn't hold air at all. We had to replace the wheel on the trailer in order to unload it. I scored two nice MT 12-bolt wheels today for $50/pair.
Batteries in, installed a instrument cluster and 3 speed Gear Shifter Assy. PCB worked, tried to turn over but I got diesel fuel squirted through the firewall where the power umbilical passes through. Turns out the fuel filter cannister is missing the check valve, pipe thread adapter and 10" piece of 1/2" fuel/oil hose, now on order. Still betting it turns over once the fuel hits the Stanedyne fuel injector system.
