Not sure why guy's keep taping into the transmission selector lamp circuit for the back-up lights. There is a dimmer circuit in the switch (resistor Hi-LO-OFF) and it's value and wattage is based on old school incandescent dash lamps loads (couple of bulbs) Now not a big deal that HMMWV tossed in an LED's for the shiftier, but IMO I don't think additional loads on this circuit is a good idea. (unless one can stay below ratings... and then ??)
I would like to ask of those that have change their dash lamps to LED ??? Do they dim when selecting between HI and LO ? I don't have LED's in the dash so a little help here to straighten me out.
I check with Mr, Ohms Law and looking over the prints....it has me scratching my head, CAMO

I mounted mine off the bumper like in the picture. After thought moved them , as I seem to hang up my bumper, coming out of awkward locations. Something about low hanging fruit. LOL
