New question.

This seems like the latest ABS thread.

I've not jumped into the abs system yet bc I thought it was working. After missing a deer 2 nights ago and locking up the rear & drifting at 45mph a few times I thought I might have an issue.

so the CB82 breaker is missing. MME is so good at "going thru" the truck! lol. Im reluctant to just replace it without a plan bc I don't know why it was pulled? Scavenged or intentionally removed due to an issue?

I agree with the guidance above from @Lostchain to get the Wabco but I don't have it at present. A PM to Rick is forthcoming lol!

I need to get it back going before the ice comes.

My truck was also MME, and my breaker was also pulled. After various diagnosing and trying to talk to the ABS computer (with some strange results, I think it wasn't quite dead) I took the thing apart and found water intrusion. Trying to find another one was a little tricky, I bought a replacement one that looked really nice, but it was in far worse shape inside than mine. Then I bought another and it's been working great. That said I think a model is slightly different because now when I press any mode except highway on the CTIS it disables the ABS system. This is noted in the wabco manual as an option for off-road settings, but I've never heard of ABS being turned off for any FMTVs in the civilian world for any CTIS settings.

MME pulling the fuse to shut off a cranky ABS warning lamp....... Naw they would never do that.

Yeah we need to get you hooked up with WABCO software.....
Dammit, get outta my head!

I don't see an issue with him putting in the fuse but it will probably just get him an ABS light, and a more pressing need to get intimate with some software to figure it out...
