What did you do to your deuce this week?

Ain't THIS the honest TRUTH!!!!!!!!! It is educating, though, if nothing else.

Hi, Bill. Nice set-up. Mind sharing what series the donor truck was? A Top-kick, maybe? Or simply an old 2 ton straight truck? Yes, pictures, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yes, it was. It had a HUGE rip in the bottom/backside of it and was considered N/R, or Non Repairable. I grabbed it out of a big Tri-wall box of them at work.

    Bonedoc's M35A2 modification thread

Okay, that is simple enough. Another thing to consider about having the lights on while moving- in alot of places the LEOs' aren't fond of people with rear facing white lights being ON while driving, something about possibly blinding following traffic.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Spent about a 1/2 hour last night re-skinning my drivers seat cushion with part of an old Gor-Tex sleeping bag bivy. Came out decently, I think. Custom seat cover that is water proof, non "crunchy" with old age, and deffinetely unique-

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Wiring- one of my few BANES when it comes to working on vehicles. (Electronics are MUCH worse, though). Glad to hear that you got it beat.

    Bonedoc's M35A2 modification thread

Wow. Lots of high-quality, OCD driven work going on here! Hopefully, My Deuce will be close to this level of "reworked", at some point. Do you still intend to post the pictures showing the back up light switch install?

    GAA Grease

It looks like the RED WTR grease, MIL-G-81322D is a compatible grease for our trucks after all. Calcium based, like the other stuff. Cool. Time to talk to the Boss about a "mass purchase"...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Probably the wiser move there, Mrmag1. Don't forget the new gaskets while you're there.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

WHAT is going on with that passenger side treadwear? Oh, uh, Hello Bertah. I went on a shopping spree for my Deuce today- 3 windshield panes, 3 sets of LMTV mirrors, 3 mostly there heater kits, a pair of wrecker worklights, set of wood chocks, complete with chains and hooks, 1 steel wheel chock...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yeah, I kind of felt like Carter when he found Tuts' tomb, way back when. I'm going to see if the boss will let me go through more of them and possibly start putting on the empty nuts/ bolts case that is upstairs, on the 4th floor, where they belong, with the rest of the vehicle parts.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

G'day, Aussie Bloke. The spider harness that I got came from Eastern Surplus. He/ they are a vendor on here. Part number for anyone looking is NSN 2590-00-220-5105. This is a 5 leg model. Be advised, there are several different types, with different NSNs' of course. Look under Electrical.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Oh, yeah PSA!!!!! CHECK your spider harness on the back of the gauge panel, ESPECIALLY if you are having intermittent gauge issues- Mine was badly rotted to the point that one leg had actually broken off. (the one going BACK to the main harness)

I got my chain style towbar adapters in today from Castle Bravo. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day with the old beasty. *grins* Have collected a lot of stuff to install over the weekend. Pictures will be coming, of course!

    2019 Haspin

I'm IN! Looking forward to meeting some more folks, this time, a bit more, um, local. KAMO was neat, but, a little bit of a drive from Eastern Kentucky. (I'm going back this year, anyway)

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Thanks, Rustystud. I thought that it was a bit light duty, based on the GVW of the Deuce, but, like I said, I will get and keep it. If nothing else, I can use it for pulling OTHER vehicles loose/out of trouble... (*eeps come to mind, quite readily... )
