    8.3 Cummins fuel adjustment

How do you change the pump timing to 16 degrees?

    5 ton Top Speed

The brakes on the M939's in my opinion are excellent especially with air brakes on the M322 trailer. I have locked them up before even with the abs going for a tad bit. Honestly, braking is the least of my concerns. I just need some more Go Go juice out of my pump. I am going to adjust the...

    5 ton Top Speed

Would the 16.00's give much more speed with the Allison?

    5 ton Top Speed

I am getting ready to install the pyro and boost gauges on my M925A2. I want to get some baseline numbers before turning it up a tad. My question is this. What is the actual top safe speed for these trucks mechanically. Yes, I know it says 63 MPH on the yellow sign. I am not wanting 128 MPH...

    Horsepower

I was fully loaded coming down a mountain north of Atlanta Georgia pulling a non-fuctional backhoe, and a LOT of cargo. Put it down to low range in first gear. The truck would basically brake itself. I rarely had to touch the actual brakes. I included a video of me going up an 18-20% grade...

    Battery Float charging?

I have not really needed a float charger. I swapped down to two group 31 batteries. My truck gets driven at least once a week for a minimum of 300-600 miles. I have had issues like blowing an alternator that ran down my batteries when I had the lights on to limp back home but then I just put...

    M936 Exhaust Clamp?

Doing a complete muffler replacement this week. Top of the muffler rusted out and the stack wobbled off. Still have the stack, just need to replace the muffler. Just got in all the replacement hardware. No stack=sucking in diesel exhaust into the cab. Not fun for a passenger!

    M936 Exhaust Clamp?

Has anyone ever done a dual exhaust set up? Is there any benefit?

M93A1 brake lights and Hazards not working

I second what Simp said. I had no issues with my truck for 3 years in that regard then I had my brake lights staying on all the time and no hazard lights. Replaced the switch and problem solved. No idea why it went bad but that was absolutely my problem.

    M939A2 tranny fluid

Has anyone used tractor transmission/hydraulic fluid such as Case Hy-Tran? My tractor loves it, just wondering what it would do in an Allison.

4 Wire Battery Switch Plug Diagram?

I have looked in the TM. I see the electrical diagrams but it doesn't show what I need. I have the new battery "top" switch on my M925a2. 2 of my wires are labeled 81A and 459. The plug is labeled A-D. Does anyone know what wire goes into what plug on the switch? The wire from the batteries...

    Dragging brake on an M925A2

Just did a 500 mile road test and it runs fine.

    Dragging brake on an M925A2

Good to know. I think I figured out what my problem was on that wheel. My wedge brakes were out of adjustment. Watched Wes's video on it and adjusted mine. Even with the brakes caged the shoes were touching the drum. I literally had to beat off the drum with a hammer. I will road-test it...

No electrical power at all to M925A2

I found the problem. I fried the primary battery on/off switch. It also fried the 3 lever light switch. No idea how but it fried both. I have it "rigged" enough to work. Parts are on order.

No electrical power at all to M925A2

I found an O ring wire connector under the nut at the bottom right of the picture with the wire end melted off. This picture shows a wire going somewhere. I believe this is my problem. I just don't know where this wire would go. Everything else in this picture is connected on my truck. I...

No electrical power at all to M925A2

I am starting to think it may be the battery "top" switch on the dash. If it was in the off position when I had the spark storm could it still have been damaged? According to the diagram in the TM the current goes from the batteries, to the starter, then to the switch. It seems like the...

    M923 fuse box location??

I can not for the life of me find these breakers. I had a short doing a oil change. I changed out the PCB thinking that was it but it wasn't. There are no breakers near the PCB on the firewall and I can not find any under the dash. I did find two fuses, one 15 amp and one 3 amp which I...

No electrical power at all to M925A2

So the dilemma continues.......disconnected the batteries, uninstalled the modifications to start the truck, and put it back to stock. Installed the new PCB. Re-connected the batteries and zilch. Nothing at all. No lights, no gauges, no abs, and absolutely no juice to starter......grrrrrr

No electrical power at all to M925A2

I checked the TM. It looks like all lights get power from the PCB according to the diagram.
