With the wheel bearing nuts torqued properly does the hub spin freely/evenly? no tight spots at certain points in a 360 degree rotation? spins with the same resistance throughout a complete rotation?
3db down = half as much power when dealing with RF, not sure if this applies to sound, but if it does. . .
I put the same muffler (moroso) on my Deuce much nicer.
G, it's just I've had bad experiences with Chinese/cheap rubber, New Star etc. . . .
Nick and I rebuilt the front axle on his Deuce, and within 18 months the boots were in pieces. . .

Glad you got her running. There is a sticker on the air cleaner that talks about ether. . . . and something about immediate engine damage. The glow plugs will ignite the ether before the valves close.
