You are correct, easier if the front end is jacked up, or you have a helper in the cab. I took the caps all the way out and removed the spring and bushing.

Pretty sure Deuce multifuel engines are not wet sleeve engines. . . . .

Just Lowes and HD, do they make a 7/8 to 5/8 bushing?

Airehydraulic here in Las Cruces, can probably get me fixed up, but not on a Sunday. Was just wondering if others had run up on this problem. I know Stonepicker put a 6.5 in his dually.

Threads on the 6.5 seem to be metric. . . . Do you know where the bushings can be had? Thanks, Ed

Guys, I have a problem, I am wondering how guys that put 6.5's in their 6.2 powered CUCV's dealt with this problem, oil cooler fittings on the block, the brass ones are the standard 6.2 fittings, and the silver ones are the fittings that came off the 6.5 that was installed in a 97 1 ton 2wd...
