Did you roll the axle shafts on the garage floor? it will be pretty obvious if they are bent. -

I have that same seal puller from autozone, I a 6.5 on the stand right now gotta do the same thing, how were you putting the seal in? -

Not sure where to go with this. You can check the axles for trueness by taking them out and rolling them on the floor of the garage (hard flat surface) -

Do they wobble by hand, or do they wobble when you rotate the axle? -

General Consensus on Loading a trailer (Weight Displacement)
Somewhere on this site is a picture of a 1028 upside down still strapped to the trailer, I think it was around Atlanta. Not enough tongue weight is a VERY scary thing.
