It took 7 gallons of Gillespie/rapco paint to do my deuce
http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?53338-So-it-begins-but-never-ends
The deuce I had before this one took 5 gallons to paint.
I guess it all depends how far you want to go.
I have a Clarke 130E mig that I bought new off E-bay for around $300 ( plus shippng )
I did modify mine as the unit does not have a cooling fan so I went bought a 120v muffin/pancake fan ( $15) and mounted it on the back and wired it to the units on/off switch., I now probably have a 40% + duty...
I was told the same thing by a old collector I knew, he said it was the stupidist thing he ever heard of till he tried it and it WORKED FOR HIM on his old jeep... Go figure!
I had a backup elec fuel pump/ filter on my 37 that was mounted back by the fuel tank and when my 37 started bucking...
It kinda looks like safty wire which is used to lock down the bolts on the oil pump high pressure pipe (barely see in top of pic ) but your not gonna know until you drop the pan.
I have one in my deuce
I just drilled and tapped the center post and mouted it that way, it comes in handy keeping a eye on anyone riding in the back.
There was a vender on e-bay selling the mount.
I pressured cleaned the heck out of mine, sanded the sheet metal, got a cheapo (harbor freight ) 2qt remote paint gun and 8gals ( gillespie paint ) later I still find places I missed :?.
