ummmm, I had mine insured through USAA as well... Until they found out how much the Deuce weighed, then I was cancelled.

So did you loose your money? I've bid on that 1009 a couple of times, came in second once, and it's been back up several times since the begining of the year. . . I spoke to the rep up there, and at least once it came back up because the guy could not get his EUC approved.

Looks like he defaulted/lost both trucks as they are back up for auction. . . 4th or 5th time for the 1009... ack...

The plate with 6 bolts is the service access to the zerk fitting on the throwout bearing. the oil is either coming from an overfilled tranny, or a rear main seal leaking. The second leak may be a leak on the IP that is leaking down onto the steering gear. Ed

Temps seem to be better, I'm at my wits end, I've replaced the thermostat, had the radiator rodded out, flushed the block, and it was still running 200-210 on a long run. I've checked the temps with an IR thermometer, and checked the IP timing. . . air temps here are in the upper 90's Since...

I'm posting my observations here as well, I'm trying to adjust a G code (LDS) pump that is installed on a LDT-465-1C engine. When I took the cover off the fuel adjust I found this, throttle is at zero, motor is not running, does this look right? neither adjustment is touching the bar. . .

OK, I found the main fuel adjustment, but this doesn't look right to me. . . neither the main, or the droop screw are touching at zero thtottle. . . is this right????????????

Thats corrosion, Galvanic? correct term?, of the Aluminium/pot metal whatever you want to call it. The oil cooler cover on a couple of my trucks showed the same corrosion/pitting.

Easiest way to see if it's pumping would be to crack the line coming out of the pump on top of the fuel tank. Also when it's pumping with the motor not running you should be able to see/hear the fuel being returned to the tank by opening the cap and looking into the tank, this works best when...
