HELP! Stripped thread on a bolt...

I think you can make a compound that you can put in the hole that will hold the bolt. First you clean out the hole real good with brake cleaner and then rubbing alcohol. You then use hydrogen peroxide to sterilize the hole. You do the same thing to the bolt. Next you walk down to your...

    5 ton hemmt wheels $

yup. It's admirable that Sephirothq wants to pass them on at "cost" - but they're worth at least $100 fair market even with all of them out there now. I'll have a bunch ready as deuce wheels pretty soon. Stay tuned.

    CUCV - air conditioner transplant?

My M1009 has working A/C. It's still 24v with the dual alt setup. Factory controls on the dash. It came that way when I bought it from GSA. Yes, it's a "real" M1009. Don't have pics...... been meaning to take some.

    Bobbed tire size

This topic has been discussed MANY times in the past. Try the SEARCH function in the Toolbar above. That said, it also depends if you're going to lift the truck. With lift, 16.00's (52" to 53" tall). Without lift, G20 15.5's, 395/80R-20's, or maybe 14.00's?

    Cucv on goverment liquidation

I didn't think reasonably priced M1008's or M1028's existed? The best thing for you to do is use the SEARCH function in the Toolbar above and research this topic. Good luck!

    BG Products

We use LOTS of BG Products at the shop. Which specifically were you planning on using? The specs on the diesel MOA are good - I use it. The trans fluid conditioner must work, I have it in my 94 6.5 with over 200k. I suppose it would also work in the T-case.

    SS transport at it again

If you're going anywhere near Gimpy's, I think he has a rear M1009 seat that could come to northern VA (or close). Plus there's that other stuff we talked about..... Don

Both the wife and I have the Magellan 1412 units, they are 4.3" wide and work very well. Bought at Costco for pretty cheap. We've used them on many trips with few issues. Gimpy- thanks for the plug on the 24v to 12v DC-DC converters. You are correct on the specs listed and quite a few SS...
