We do the Fairfax, VA Independence day parade every year. Yes, I know, incorrect display of the flag. Won 3rd place out of 200 entries last year. Am going to add the 5 ton to the display this year after it's singled out on 53's and repainted.
The bobbed truck is on 53's and towing an M105...
It all depends on the condition of the vehicle. I sold one for $3200, but it was fully road ready. Have another that will probably go for more based on condition. Just keep looking.
Well said.
There are lots of us who buy and sell not only trucks, but various other surplus to support our families and our hobby. If that means I am a dealer, OK.
I get the feeling that some SS members believe that there is something bad about being labeled a "dealer" in surplus property...
I could only wish....
Amen, brother!
Now don't knock having 14 or 18 trucks until you try it! ....although I don't have an M818, hmmmmmm
Just because someone has a few trucks doesn't make them a dealer. Some of us have have have have have have have have have a mental disease that...
Not necessarily. A good majority were bought up by just a few buyers. Some are being modded into wheels that fit other vehicles. Expect more people to cut and modify.
some are also destined to be sold with tires attached.
If anyone has a pallet of "stuff" at the GL in Oklahoma City ready to be picked up, I can probably get it shipped reasonably to my shop in Chantilly, VA. I'm looking to fill a load.
This is very time sensitive.
Let me know via post or PM.
Thanks-
Don
Yeah, Shorty probably would get in and out, BUT no winch and no way to lift up the trailer.
Agreed on the 53's idea on the 5-ton, but that won't happen until next week.
Isn't it supposed to get below freezing tonight there? Maybe the ground will harden up enough?
Damn, Daniel, ditto on what Mike said - you should have called. Glad you finally got out.
I also hope the 16.00's will work better - we'll see soon. You need to use my power washer?
Jay-
Thanks again for your help on this mission. Looks like my topless 813 got towed home, well, to Daniels anyway. Sorry I couldn't make it - this work situation is a BIG problem right now.
Glad the family had fun playing with the equipment.
Thanks also to Mike, Daniel & friend. I...
