    as long as the bell housing came off a 6.5 it should bolt to the 6.2 just fine. the gasser bell housings require grinding i believe.

    if you can handle a 25 + year old vehicle a cucv should be fine. a m1009 likely would suit you better than a M1008 due to the gearing. :driver:

    the orignal nose cone on the cucv starter is for an automatic application. if you do some looking around you should be able to find a nose cone from a standard shift application. (i got a new one off ebay) that should clear just fine2cents:beer:
