mint condition with original factory tires..... from the 1940's. Thats insane. No telling what its worth. For something like that i would break my rule of never owning anything i wouldnt take to Home Depot for lumber
not a bad posting on the ethanol thing. That is bad juju on any older engine especially seals and such. It is also very very bad on engines that are carborated and arent run constantly. etahnol blend WILL gum up carbs.
well did you get it and if not what does the guy want for it. I hate seeing them rust away to nothing and that one is just on the edge of saving from what i see
ditto on the propane tankless water heater. runs from around 100-150 dollars and can heat anything from hot coffee temp to luke warm shower with a turn of a dial. run time is about 28 hours on a propane grill cylinder on most i saw
I used to have a Solar Shower when i was deploying to Iraq before we all got KBR food and showers. I really liked them even when its cold out if you set the filled bladder out in the sun it would get hot in notime. If you forgot or just didnt fill it and warm it before the sun went down then...

352? Glow Plug?
if your speaking of the detroit diesel 353 that shouldnt be a glow plug its a weed-eater 2 stroke spark plug. The 353 had a spark plug on the number 2 cylinder ( i think if memory serves correctly) that had its own little coil and operated kinda like a glowplug to aid in starting.

30th is good for me...... will probably be me plus one. what do you have in mind for the rally. Whats the weather usually like in La that time of year?
Ive gotten by best performance on longer trips..... Birmingham to northwest Tennessee at about 2300 RPM which matched to about 52ish mph on stock tires. That being said that was reading the military gauges which have been known for being off a bit. That was the speed i thought i was getting a...
