Always, always always pull that little yellow valve. And if you have to think you have pulled the little yellow valve, go back and check.............The little yellow valve is your friend.
The 9 speed will fill the holes that the 5 speed has. You will also be much busier in the cab, keeping the Cummins in the powerband. With the deep gearing that the rear axle has, 8th and 9th will need to be OD.
The nice thing about 22.5 rims is that they are everywhere. Plus, you can find a 22.5 tire anywheres also. If you should have a tire problem in god for sakin backwoods Ga, at least the tire truck will have 22.5's in stock, and your only choice will be new or recap.
UPS runs a "traction" tire...
Making a roundtrip from South Carolina to Fort Dix New Jersey. Small pickup going northbound, Nov 4th, already pretty full. Coming south, will have M814, and loads of room. Small pickup will be in tow.
Clinto,
I have an LED scrolling message board that I will let the Rally use. It is fairly simple to program, and all it needs is 110 volts AC to make it go.

I need some big time help at Fort Dix. I have an M814 that just cleared the EUC, and I can't get GL to hold the M814 an extra week when I am on vacation, and can come get it. Is there anybody that can pull my M814 off Fort Dix, and hold it for one week?
Just spent Friday at the Ga rally. I was really missing my 814, tied up in EUC paperwork while driving around in Ferro's 818. Told my wife that I hoped the EUC would clear soon. Spent Saturday running trains, and finally got to check on two days of emails. You guessed it- My EUC cleared...
Good News !!!!! My EUC came in on Friday. Event 5319, 72 days worth of waiting........... Now I can plan the road trip to go get her from Ft Dix. Here I come, my SWEET M814.
