RThe best thing is to drop the tranny, and while the tranny is down, replace the clutch. Trust me, no sooner then you get the tranny back up, the clutch WILL fail. It's a murphy's law.2cents
Transmission. Sounds like the syncro's are badly worn. You should be able to match speed with the engine and the driveline(no clutch) and shift it that way. It just takes time to let the speeds match. As for coming out of gear, for right now, get a short rubber strap to hold the gear shift...
After much searching, I went with Travelers, and Gulfway for my 5 ton. You have to find an agent that will work for you- They just don't do many MV's, and mine had to work to find the proper person to talk with at corporate. 501.00 dollars a year, and I can do anything I want with the 5 ton...
