I don't know how much a GMC CCKW weighs, but pulled one with a broken transfercase for a few miles. No problems at all, did hurt my nose on the steeringwheel, as the brakeman in the GMC thought it was fun to step on the brakes when I was pulling.

Well, Did 2 days of working on the M1028: First an oil + filter change and overall checking for coming inspection. All mounts are good, but we did notice the bed is warped a bit. Then I went for inspection, did not pass. Got a list with points: I replaced: 2 steering joints, 1 steering joint...

Noticed the bed is rubbing against the cab on the drivers side when driving offroad. So when the weather clears up, I am going to check that out.
