    PTO Poppet washer

Thanks for all the help guys. Right now it has a new retainer and ball from Memphis. I went with the old spring because it was easier to compress and it goes down to 3/4". Without the spring in the retainer, the ball will drop all the way down to the bottom no problem. This simple little...

gringeltaube: Thanks for your help again. I checked your measurements against mine and they were good. I wasn't able to do the "distance from machined surface on housing to shift rod: .657", because I have it mounted and full of oil. I even ordered new stuff from Memphis Equip. just in...

    PTO Poppet washer

I just rebuilt my PTO and having problems shifting it. The copper washer that fits on the poppet retainer looks pretty flat. When I tighten the poppet retainer down it puts too much force on the shifter rail and locks it in place. I can't budge the shift lever even with my foot! If I back...

I watched my grandfather break-down a many of split-rims, he was a master with a duckbill hammer. I am not! I use several pieces of heavey duty 3" x 3" angle iron and a sledge hammer to drive them in. I picked this up from a thread on here if you can find it, has a lot of pictures too...

    PTO stud lengths

Does any one know the length of the studs for the winch PTO? I'm guessing 1 1/4 "? Maybe 1 3/8"? Also, are they 3/8" NC on both sides or separated then 3/8" NF on the end for the nut? Thanks for any help. I'm hoping I get some at NAPA today.

converting 24v truck to 12v trailer

I second that. I bought a cheap set from HF and burned out 1/2 the LEDs in one light after a short tow. I'm hoping it was just the "Made in China" lights. I'm willing to try another set if you've had better luck with a particular brand. Thanks.

Air Pack Leaking Air with a Desparate Plea for Help! Pics Inside.

Hammer, I would take a hard look at how it is plumbed. In your 1st picture it shows and you describe the vent tube running under the hood. It looks like it is plumbed into your brake light switch. If this is the case then any time you apply your brakes you will be dumping air through your...
