So, what about the M26 then???

Does anyone here know of a source for the main and rod bearings for our beloved multifuel engines? Standard or oversized. Also, what about cylinders/liners? (yes I know there were just a bunch on GL, but I missed out). I have a rod knocking when the engine is cold (goes away when warm)...

I have several of these 3 piece kits still in the box. NSN 5975-00-878-3791. Complete with the wire, clamps, three sections of threaded rod, bronze couplers, drive bolt, and extraction disks. Anyone interested? I can post pics tomorrow. I only have one slide hammer, sorry.

I should add that this would only apply to the "Garwood" bed wreckers. The "Austin-Western" bed wreckers would be set-up differently on the drum/boom edge scenario.

My M816 is 1/2" rope on the main load hoist (boom). I can't recall how many feet even though I just re-roped it this summer with anti-rotation wire. I just put as much on the drum as possible (all but two of the grooves full) with the boom in the fully stowed (fully retracted and hook at the...
