RE: Re: RE: Who wants a few CUCVs.......
Yeh man, that's Fort Meade Md for sure. I live right up the road and won three PU's in the last auction. Lots of clean looking vechiles on both the GL side and the DRMO side. Nice site manager Sarah Dutton, very helpful and hard working.
Did you receive tags and reg./ title from ITS
Does ITS issue real tags and reg./title for their service?
I have a 86 M1009, MD will not take the title SF97 re assigned to my from GL. MD DMV said GL needs to issues a title thats in their name first.
Do tags come with ITS service.
Thanks
I took my title pasgage to the MD DMV today and was rejected.
I had teh Bill of sale, SF97 from FL/GL transfering vechile to me, and the orginial Gov. title in GL's name.
The MD DMV told me GL needs to issue a title that shows the vecheile they are selling is in their name, then send a real...
I've got a driver side brake line leaking and can't seem to see where its leaking/ Maybe the conection between the rubber flex hose and the metal line. it runs along the frame, and is hard to get to w/o a lift.
How hard are the rubber flex lines to change?
I was checking out a few trucks on the GL lot and one M1008 PU with low miles looks nice BUT, when I put the transmission in gear, there was a light grinding sound??
Any thoughts on what might be wrong?
Its on the front, looks like the hose that runs from the wheel under the frame, leaking at the point somewhere under the frame. Hard to see anything in this tight space.
What does the brake line connect to after it runs from the wheel?
The fluid is pouring out fast.
batteries
I charged the front battery, which was dead, checked the back battery, fully charged, cleaned up the posts and the truck started right up and restarted.
I'll have to see if the front battery will hold the charge, if not I've got a bad one.
Alt lights go out after motor starts.
I have a leaking brake line on a blazer I just pu that seems to be running from under the passenger side inside the wheel well. Hard to see where its leaking.
What usually leaks first the rubber hose? of the metal lines?
Do I need to use silicone brake fluid?
Thanks
I think its the batteries, I have one on charge right now, should I use the slow charge ver night?
And yes when jumped with the slave cable, started right up and ran after it was disconnected. Drove 5 miles home and after sitting a few hours was dead again.
Any suggestions on Costco or walmart...
I picked up a blazer from GL this week, batteries were dead, got a jump from a duce and let the truck idle 45 min. drove the about 5 miles home. When I tried to start it batteries still dead.
Should the batteries charged after running the engine for over one hour, or if they are really shot...
Took the blazer for a ride today and noticed a small leak (anti freeze) inside on the passenger side floorboard, does this sound like a heater core?
Are they hard to replace?
I'm sure they are coverd in the TM's in detail.
thanks
Tried the blazer lights, all work, but the dash lights and horn do not work.
Maybe a fuse????
is there a interior light under the dash/floor area on the blazer, a light come on then didnt light the next day.
The marking on the door is from a maintenance unit out of Ft. Drum, I want to contact Mark Schriver and see if he can make a stencel so once the truck is painted I can add the unit markings.
It show a crossed wrench and M16 rifle.
Brought my Blazer home from Ft. Meade yesterday, truck starts and ran great, I did notice a fair amount of play in the steering . I had to adjust the wheel a little bit to stay straight. Something must be out of alignment?
Is the front end worn out, tie rods?
Tires are not worn at all .
Any...
