    MEP-002A Engine Stop Solenoid

I guesstimated based off Pemberton (your listed location). Either way, everything today either has had a squirrel orgy on it, or is gold plated. Good luck in the hunt.

    MEP-802A Fuel System issue.

I have some bolt down vibration dampening corner pads (think they were from an AC unit originally) that someone had mounted onto an 802 that I acquired last year... I might still have all 4 in my garage if you are interested.

Acquired Another MEP-802A - A Couple of Questions

Took a roadtrip through PA/NYS in the last few weeks and I saw both off road diesel available by pump (non agricultural location in the immediate area) and a different station with ethanol free unleaded. I think the unleaded was labeled 'rec fuel' from memory.

mep803 goes to full overload on start up

Internal contact corrosion can cause this issue, as can defective burden resistors. Digger asked some good questions to get a baseline.

    Mep-802a compression question

I would start with the Radio Shack clearance section that appears to be your operator cube where the missing relays are! :ROFLMAO: A lot of extra wires in there that appear to be taken from elsewhere and put there. The relays and switches are readily sourceable through places like Mouser and...

    Mep-802a compression question

Yeah those photos don't look bad at all... All the leads you see are disconnected from a single TB (genhead output) just behind the firewall near the air filter. Look forward to more photos.

MEP-802A Popping CB1 as Soon as the Unit is Switched to Pump/Prime

I just use a flat cut piece of 1/4" rodent mesh and ( 8 ) self tapping sheet metal screws and just go over the entire cutout with the machine lofted for easy bottom access. I've recently begun using aluminized tape on the round battery holes under the trays, when machines sit without batteries...

    MEP-803 compression bypass by injectors

Definitely make sure there isnt a second washer in there, and as Ray said... you may just need to anneal them. Only so many things could be causing this. You did confirm there are no hairline cracks in the injectors anywhere?

Acquired Another MEP-802A - A Couple of Questions

No I'm not sorry. Nothing in the TB 11-6115-741-24 book related to after refurbishment.

MEP-802A Popping CB1 as Soon as the Unit is Switched to Pump/Prime

The primary mission of that cutout is to quickly evacuate water from the engine bay, under fording conditions. It will also allow for fresh air during use to pass through the system... but I believe there is sufficient cubic footage available solely through the side vents to keep everything...

Acquired Another MEP-802A - A Couple of Questions

This is the routine maintenance call out from the Lister Petter workshop manual on this engine line:

Acquired Another MEP-802A - A Couple of Questions

The break in period refers to Tier 2 reset engines.

    MEP-803A Starting issues! please help!

As DieselAddict said, just try holding the start switch much longer. There is a disconnect in the circuit... You cannot hurt the starter (you actually need to hold it a few seconds so the set will begin to produce power after it hits operating rpm). If it then doesn't work, then the...

First MEP 803A, fix up help

I have a block petcock as a take off, and gauge lids are listed in the classifieds if I can help.

How do you move your generator(s)?

Kubota with forks. I like the integrated skid/hitch setup though you have made.

MEP-802A fuel shutoff solenoid & fuel leak? questions

    Mep 802a start up

Start out at 61.5, and load it up. If you end up back around 60 under full load, you are doing OK (provided its running steady with no real variation). Don't expect for an 802 to hold 60hz at no load, and full load without having to adjust the frequency cable to compensate for the load. Try...
