Need to pull a genset out of Chambersburg. ALL of the major freight carriers are performing terribly right now. Would like to see if someone coming this way wants to make a few bucks on hauling for me. Thanks
My first guess is the fuel bung, second being the return line passing through the same area... but I would say if it presented over months it might be the fuel bung starting to go (and once it starts, it only speeds up).
If you head to PDF Pg 132, you will see 2-61 (AC Circuit Interrupt Relay). In the steps below it, it calls out "Inspect AC circuit interrupter relay (4, FIGURE 2-16) ". If you scroll a page or two further into the PDF you will see the exploded diagram with #4 called out.
Thanks. The world is going a bit sideways these days, for a number of reasons... absolutely no reason in my mind why I can't at least hopefully count on my OD box to work when asked to ;).
Just thought I would share some pictures of what I mounted up on my 802 the other day.
These products serve two very distinct needs in these sets
1.) Make sure your batteries are operational when you need them
2.) Onboard backup should your alternator fail under use
So the first is...
The 4 soft fuel lines that come from the fuel filter, to each metering pump... are all 4 of those pushed all the way towards the engine (possible almost touching the push rod tubes) on all 4? If those lines are in different positions, it can cause uneven fueling.
1800 from the day it was made. Absolutely no reason to adjust the RPMs past the rotational adjustment to compensate for load.
Fuses can be sourced many places, here is where I get mine from: https://www.allfuses.com/fnq-r-3
As for the MOV, you will have to look through the forums for the...
Well its possible its got some corrosion internally from sitting on a shelf. When they are sticky from sitting a long time in a machine, with no use, they can be put into a container of carb cleaner for a few days, then articulated and bench compressed to make sure everything moves as intended...
There is no parts support on the PSU. The Ambac can be rebuilt, but I have no experience with it. Many here in the forum do though.
They can also be purchased outright from time to time through eBay, but if you have the skill... DIY rebuild is the much cheaper method.
There are many ways to ascertain part numbers for items. A good trick in finding parts, is to dump the NSN in question into parttarget.com. An example with this switch...
Those are the primary fuel lines, that send fuel into the metering pumps, which pressurize the fuel injectors. At the end of the rigid line those 2 or 4 (depending on model you have) branch off of, is the start of the 'return' system.
Have you put a set of eyes on your return line, or are you basing this off seeing the soft lines that go to the metering pumps? I have not seen any crimps on a return fuel line in these sets, which is why I ask.
If you are talking about the lines that go to the engine block (to the metering...
I found the old NSN cross list for gauges, but I didn't see one for senders. If you look at one of Farias later catalog releases: https://fariabeede.com/site_manuals/Faria_Beede-fm-002-0001-2019-Aftermarket_catalog.pdf
They do have different temp senders listed... one of which appears to be...
