The Freq gauge is one thats tough to find. As Guy said, if its not wildly off it might be annoying, but its not going to have any performance effect.

How far off does it read? What model machine?

The tank has a little wiggle room, but there is a hold down pad from the radiator sheet metal, that if you had the rear cover pulled.. you could loosen to make your life easier.

Yes its the same well nut as the front of the tank. Do check for seepage out of that drain hose... could be part of the problem too.

Have you cleaned out the tank of any potential floating trash either?

You got a spare fuel pump? Does it have an inline particle filter?

Yes, its not 1 better... model numbers are very important with these machines.

You can turn a set over without coolant and its fine... if the machines are well drained of their lube oil though thats a different ballgame. I've seen them do it too... auctions are more of a crapshoot than ever before.

Have you tested and inspected the MPU? It threads into the flywheel housing, below the starter

All 803s I test at 13.5KW. If they won't hold that with ease, they arent ready for sale. The engine is specified from the manufacturer as good for like 18KW, its limited by electronic controls in these units.
