I just had the seams redone on an M105 cover. It cost me $25. I took it to a large canvas shop and they ultrasonically welded them. Looks Great! Custom Canvas Manufacturing Co., Inc.

Check pg18. These are able to be purchased new still. Many heavy truck salavage yards will still have them. Truck tire shops (try the ones that blast and coat wheels). The problem is that they are 6.75" wide. 11R22.5 should be on a 7.50" or 8.25"...
I make both of them. There rear 1 13/16" wrench is my design. It is the same c/l to end distance as the cross wrench. The cross wrench is the military design. I charge $50 for the pair (or two of either) and $30 for either one. These prices include shipping.

I have a 24v-12v coverter. It is rated for 10 amps. Could that be hooked up to a 12v battery like a charger giving me a 12v system that would allow me to run larger loads than 10amps for short periods of time? Would it over charge the battery or taper down like a battery charger?
Does anyone know anything about an M38 with 1100-20 tires and a cut down body. Fred Chrimson has a couple of photos in his book. It may have only been tested. They refered to it as "Hi Helen".
