I thought about trying the balance beads but decided against it. I'm going to TRY and have them balanced, probably with the stick-on lead weights. I know they won't balance out completely but hopefully it will be better than nothing.
I placed the tire on the inner rim. I pre-lubricated the o-rings with petroleum jelly before getting started. When I was ready to assemble everything I started by stretching the o-ring to get it to seat in the "channel". I immediately placed the outer ring on using 4 - 6 standard nuts (not the...
I started mounting the PVC inserts and "new" tires today. I took some pictures to document the process . . . this may not be the best or even the right way but it worked for me.

I was out of town for almost a week and work has been kinda crazy but I picked this up today. I'm gonna have to change to input shaft and bore the case for the larger Turbo 400 bearing but it was too good a deal to pass up.
I ordered some PVC inserts from Trailworth Fab, along with some replacement o-rings for the valve stems and wheels. I torqued the valve stem o-rings to 50 inch pounds.
I decided against doing the rock rings or powdercoating the wheels, mainly because I want to get the "new" tires and wheels installed so I can drive the truck. I did clean the wheels up and repaint them flat black . . .
