    Air pack rebuilding question

Same thing just happened to me. I've rebuilt several long & short Air Packs with no issues; this one I rebuilt a year ago on a friend's truck, along with master cylinder & every wheel cylinder....I also added a remote reservoir on the firewall. It has been working fine for about 9 or 10 months...

AM General M934 How difficult is it to find repairs & how much will they set me back?

Rancher's Supply (perhaps some of our CO members can chime in here) seems to me to be a business that wants a quick flip of a truck for a healthy profit. I stopped in there some time ago, and after quick glances at their MVs most were in need of some good maintenance....while some had at least...

M925 12 volt wiring supply from batteries?

If you are using a battery disconnect switch, make sure that you run the 12V ground through it as well; the factory 12V feed has a separate ground return wire that runs right back to the batteries, you will have to run it through a disconnect switch as well with your 12V accessories. Otherwise...

AM General M934 How difficult is it to find repairs & how much will they set me back?

As Red and a couple of others have pointed out, it is all about leverage. Think about lifting/moving without using your body weight/strength for anything other than guidance. Get a long prybar (at least a 5-footer, don't know what that is in metric sorry, LOL), a 20-ton hydraulic bottle jack...

    Recovering the M15A2 trailer

One of the 40-ton forklifts couldn't lift its share of the 42,600-lb M15A2, so a Case 580D loader as brought out to keep the forklift's rear end on the ground, as the lowboy trailer was backed underneath the M15A2.

    M200A1 Air Diaphragm

I might have a couple of old air diaphragms from my M105A2s lying around, give me a couple of days to dig them out and they're yours.

M35a2 Hub Flip Tips and Lessons Learned

I seem to remember that 98G & Castle Bravo had a fun time together not too long ago, flipping hubs on a Deuce somewhere in AZ.... to me it's a good lesson for buying a Harbor Freight press (especially if you use one of their coupons). I got the 20-ton press years ago and it has paid for itself...

Laurie the Lorry - My 1991 RHD Leyland 4 Tonne.

Nice truck, very unique with the RHD! I've found that if the truck starts, runs, and drives well, everything else is secondary and can be fixed later. I'd leave the engine alone since it's running well, just add more gears (like the 6-speed trans you mentioned). That alone will make a big...

    .

That's why you don't fully depress clutch pedal unless you're at a stop...while shifting/range-changing only depress clutch pedal halfway as you double-clutch, and it will go smooth as butter (generally). Double-clutching works really well with Deuce transmissions too. Great thread!!
