It's all the normal setup. L/H driver side and exhaust on the right. And I think not having a cab on kinda throws it off too I dont know when I set up the camera to record the start up it flipped it like it did. Confused me as well when I posted it Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

    Dead Pilot's M36a2 Build

I was able to get back to some work on her today after a crazy week. Changed the oil and filters. The oil came out at 1st super thick and black. But then again who knows how old that oil was. So now she has fresh oil and filters with no oil leaks now. Had her running for about 15 mins or so...

    Dead Pilot's M36a2 Build

That was the 2nd video. I upload the most import one 1st lol. It took a few mins but still not too bad I think. I adjusted my fuel shut off lever the second time and closed it up for a 3rd start up and short run. Next up fuel and oil change, and brakes. Then I'm going to attempt to drive her up...

    Dead Pilot's M36a2 Build

The long awaited update. She is ALIVE!!!! Took a few time turning over to get fuel in the motor and for things to come alive after sitting dormant for some many years. The in tank fuel pump start right up when I flipped the switch, but the only thing is I think the magnetic starter relay is...

    Dead Pilot's M36a2 Build

Finally able to get back working on her today. I got all the belts replaced. Which took longer then it should have since the air compressor pulley fought me to no end. Ended up pulling the whole pulley off to put in a vice to use some heat and oil. But that didnt work either so I flipped and...

    Coolant system flush problem

I already have plans on adding on coolant filter. But my concerns are with the flow. My truck was sitting for 7 ish years with out being ran and the was some build up in the water pump and the thermostat was locked up with stuff. So I'm trying to make sure there isnt and issue on the other side...

    Coolant system flush problem

I'm trying to clean out my system before I put my radiator, thermostat and water pump back in. I spray water in through coolant manifold and it flows and comes out a bolt hole the water pump was bolted up to. But when I spray water in the oil cooler side it just backs up and pours out. So I'm...

    Dead Pilot's M36a2 Build

I'm surprised that they were able to repair it. Had 4 or 5 major holes and **** ton of pin hole leaks. Guy had for about a month. So I'm not complaining lol Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    FDC bypass with non turbo

I've seen a lot of info on everyone with the FDC bypass with turbos but havent been able to find anything on the non turbo bypass. I know nothing changes on what it done for the bypass. But since I dont have a turbo I shouldn't have to worry about exhaust temps right? Sent from my SM-N950U...

    Dead Pilot's M36a2 Build

I got some dot air line and the rest of the stuff now I just have to wait for the weather to clear up to go redo the lines. I'm thinking this is the time to remove my flame heater while I'm doing the fuel lines. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Dead Pilot's M36a2 Build

Well had a minor set back today. All the plastic return fuel lines are pretty much shot. So I have to go through and replace all that before I can attempt a full start up. Guess its time to start digging though the site and see what option I have.

    Dead Pilot's M36a2 Build

I used gillispie paint ordered from http://www.rapcoparts.com. I ordered quite a bit of paint since I'm repainting my whole truck. My color codes are probably different then yours unless you are using the 4 color merdc or the 383 3 color. Either way these guys have almost every color code that...
