Made some more headway this week. All the cab parts are cleaned up and ready for paint next week. Got the cab on a stand that I modified a bit to put the fenders on so I can get the pattern on to the cab.
Next week will be paint then putting the cab all back together. Slowly getting there...
Slowly getting the parts fixed up and painted before they go back on the truck. Had a take out a good dent out of the front of the hood. Then I repainted the same pattern that was already there. Fenders are next up then get to the cab. Figured that would be the easiest way to try and match the...
I'm sure its probably somewhere on here but the search function didn't help me too much. I'm in the process of repainting the cab and I was thinking about trying to redo the markings on the cluster. Any inputs on where to get a stencil made up for those?

I am looking for the underside along the area that it sits on the frame. If I remember correctly the frame width is 34". I need to build up something that i can put the bed on to load up on a car hauler so I bring the bed to my shop to work on it.
I dont have access to my truck at the moment and trying to make a carrier to take the bed off my M36. So I'm looking to see if anyone has pictures of the underside of the bed.

Thanks for info. I kinda figured it was a USAF truck at the end of its service. It's kinda cool to find out the history of theses trucks

Yup still at it. Well getting back at it. I had shoulder surgery back in May and finally can start working on it again.

Thanks for those links I didn't go all the way to bottom when I looked earlier. So I'll be digging around in there it looks like.
I'm gonna get it fixed up. I have 2 M101a3 and they have their surge brake working and I can notice a difference when there is load.

I finally got to checking out the m1102 I pick up last week. I went to check the wheel bearing and brake drive side was all good. Then I found a surprise when I removed the passenger side wheel. It seems like the whole brake drum and insides are gone and it's just the outer part that the wheel...
I'm planning on using for as a scrap hauler and throwing random crap to haul different places. So it being beat up doesn't bother me. I just am gonna push out that front corner out alittle and fix that marker light and take off those bow mounts and that's about it. So for what I'm using it for...
I just picked up a m1102 from a govplanet auction last week. Drove up to yermo today a picked it up and drove it back to fallbrook today. It drove back with no issues. From what I gathered from some paper work found it was in a roll over and then was sent to drmo I'm guessing. The frame and axle...
