    A 3/4 ton could be a 12 or a 14. Depends on how it was optioned and what year it is. Google them and you should be able to find an I.D. chart on them and can tell which it is for yourself.

    I would try to adjust the shifter linkage on the side of the trans before going into the pan. It sounds like it might not be engaging park all the way. Could be that simple.

    I run Opti-lube XPD in every tank. Seems to work good. I can definantly tell a small difference in the way it runs without it.

    Freeze plug Woes

    Freeze plugs corrode from sitting for long periods and improper coolant/water mixtures. If your positive its coming from a freeze plug, you can drain the coolant and put a new freeze plug in and down the road ya go.

    Replaced the fuel filter today....no change. I ordered a lift pump. Gonna try that next. I hesitate to think its the injector pump because it drives around town just fine. Its mostly on the highway (higher rpm's) that it does it. Any other ideas?
