I have some pics of ya'll as the convoy rolled by where I was sitting. I will try to post them up tomorrow. I am sorry I didn't find this thread earlier. I would have been more than happy to drive any extra truck that needed driving.
My apologies. I am not on here much and was not aware there was such a section. But I will be checking it now since I would have been more than happy to drive any extra trucks.
Just curious if any members were in the 4th of July parade in Edmond , Ok. There were a handful of Dueces, a Wrecker, and a Jeep I believe. Some of the dueces had Steel Soldiers painted on the side. I did get pictures of the trucks. Even if it wasn't any of ya'll I will posted them anyways in...
May 9th is the Saturday before Mother's day (Sunday). If anyone needs an A-Driver let me know... I might be able to go, will know more once the date gets closer.
Damn I am sorry I missed this.... I dont have an MV, but would have loved to have been an A-driver. Maybe next year we could do this on Veteran's day? Start at the capitol after the Veteran's day events and end up at the 45th Museum... I guess I need to check in here more often.
Also I didnt...

Depending on the number of members taking part an advanced party may be a good idea. If only a hand full of members show then perhaps only 1 or 2 people advance and allow everyone else to "convoy" in. Also, if the advanced party could set up commo, they could be prepared for each convoy or...
Not the most direct route, but the best route if you are wanting to take a highway.. (I-35 to I44)(probably not in a MV).. but if we had a convoy we could get away with it. I just recently got out of the military but a field training exercise enviroment still sounds fun. Everyone needs to...
I think that looks fitting for a MV. With the hightech equipment out there with the radio off, the non MVer may think its GPS...
I mounted a home made center console in my 5ton wrecker and later my duece. The console has 2 cup holders, a radio, and 2 speakers.. I also ran 2 other speakers to...
as long as things work out I should be able to go. Sounds like great fun. Might have to hitch a ride.. I can always drive if someone needs me to.. Anyone coming through OKC?
This truck is also in the newest issue of FOURWHEELER, in the readers ride section. The same guy has a nice tow rig... but I dont like what he did with this truck..
First off as far as I know, the speaker options were 2 front/2 rear or the middle speaker. I dont think they used it in conjunction with the front 2 speakers. If this is a m1008 (truck) then the rear speakers on the Civvy models were 4x10"s 95% of the time. There were very few with 6x9"s. The...
Hope he doesnt plan on taking off his dash or instrument cluster either. As far as the sunvisors.. there are some mounted to the roll bar. I agree roll cages are a great investment, I would rather have it go down the front speaker holes.
