clean truck you found there.. i have a parts manual for sale. BUT at the moment it is packed in storage as i am in the process of moving.... will check back in with you when moving is done (couple months).
i dont know about m51a1s, but my m816 is all doesnt have a front disengage. however the one duece in the unit that has it is run by air.. and the PTO on the wrecker is manual (lever next to drivers seat). Try chasing the wires.. or flipping it and see what happens...
have you checked the bulbs? when one light stays on, from past experience it has been a burnt bulb. Also check the ground for the tail lights.. which if like my 82 Civvy c-10 should be on the drivers side on a crossmember, possibly part of the bed.
from the operator's manual the jacks look to be the same as found on civvy 73-87s...except the cucvs have them mounted behind the seat , or behing the passenger side fenderwell (blazers only).
Havent seen many of these on here... just wanted to post a pic of "mine".. not really mine but after driving it for the past 4-5yrs you kind of grow attached. Was a blast to drive. Modifications included caddy emblem on the grille and a stereo with 4 speakers. [:)] :lol: then they took it...
the only 3/4 ton is the M1009 blazer... which you probably dont want parts off of.
to get the 205. you need to look for a m1028a1, m1028a2 (dually), or the m1031.
the 1tons are definately 1 ton running gear.. the blazers were intended more for personell use.. trucks were meant to be...
tried viewing them larger.. says "You have requested something that does not exist, or you do not have permission to access." so from what i can see it looks like fun..
