RE: M35 snowplow
Mike is right about probably not needing anything that big in Virginia. Upstate NY and Rockies are a different thing. Still Mikes comment about a smaller truck being easier to manuverand use is right on target. If you get the m35 stuck it is a problem. I use my M37 almost...

I have what looks like the same plow 11ft. I am mounting on my m35. I am using the bracket that came with is but triming it to fit inside the springs and Ubolted to the springs or axle with 2x4 tube running back to rear and pivoting on a bolt at middle axle. I will send pics. I...
There is a gama goat web site that usually has some for sale. Also a place in south carolina has some in their yard. Try a search with m561 or m792 Transfercase, rear steering box are the hardest parts to find.

Having it under the resources tab makes it very hard for visitors to find classified adds.
I took about ten minutes to find it and knew it had to be around somewhere.

The tire wheel combo looks great! Do the front tires rub at full turn?
Also do you have pictures showing the amount of bulge on the front tires?
Part of the bounce might be from pulling in the side walls more than intended.
My 395/85R20 Goodyears (supposedly softer??) on 10...
I like the wc62, as mentioned above it is the rarest and looks the coolest with the 6x6 set up. I have one in the yard I am collecting parts for. Midwest military has most parts for it and most are the same as wc51, and wc52. The bed parts are the hardest to find. I think the bed, steering...
ranchers supply
I went down there last year to see what they had for tires and 5 ton tractors. John is very knowledgeable and nice to work with. They also have a surplus store at a separate location in Lamar that has smaller items like canvas etc
I looked at a m275a1? That was for sale in Nebraska last summer. It had no title then but the guy called me later and said he had gotten a nebraska title for it. It has a heater, nonturbo multifuel no airshift front end,no winch, incorrect fifth wheel, correct fuel tank, air hoses missing...
The 395r85 20' goodyears are fine in alot of snow but are not good on snow packed road or ice. I have a load of logs in the back and the weight still does not help much on a steep hill. Chains are the way to go.
RE: WHAT?
I checked the hubs and front axle right off as I have had hubs go out on other trucks mainly because they loosen up when they get hot, they are ok. I did not adjust the linkage. I will try that.
Bryan, If the linkage adjustment does not work I will bring it down. Otherwise I will...
The 4wd went out in my m37 while plowing. It was popping out of 4x4 for some time before it went. I still have rear wheel drive. I am going to jack up the rear today put it in gear and see what output shafts still turn. It is not grinding any gears that I can hear and the linkages are still...
That m275 looks like it will be a good candidate and you won't even have to remove the old motor!
I was considering swapping the m35 fuel tank to the drivers side after removing storage box. All you would have to do is rotate it 180 and slide it up under the cab a little further. The m35 tank...

To use the 12v system like you are describing it would be connecting the 2 positve posts together as...
I have a similar need for 12volt power, but need more amps to run a 12v hydraulic pump for a snow plow. Something seems wrong with my logic but I am not sure what.
WILL THIS WORK WITH OUT DAMAGING ANY 24V COMPONENTS?:
Run extra leads off of both batteries and hook them up in a parallel...
Ijust need tools guaranted against loss!!
I am doing the garage sale method of filling out my Snapon and Mac sets. I fill in my craftsman set when I visit my Dad!

Personally, i'd prefer locking axles that I could select or de-select. Basically, a panel with three air switches in a row and a lever for engaging the rear axle from the middle. That's my dream setup. Basically a Giant Pinzgauer.
Already been done! They are the m621-624 Norweign...
