"I bought my handles from these guys for less than $10.00 per handle..The handles are listed under the cab lock handles section"
Thanks I just ordered 2
I have never seen one with a hard top that looks right. That one does. Is that original equipment?
There is a weasel group web page. I think they are based in Colorado.
Also Russ Morgan in Loveland or Fort Collins, CO advertises parts and weasels in the Supply Line.
RE: Solarizer on the duece
"I had to think of something to get the sun and stay out of the way especially if I wanted to fold down the windscreen. It also serves as an additional place to secure MRE pouches by wedging them between it and the stack for heating while driving."
Good idea...
RE: Solarizer on the duece
Nice! Maybe you could make it track the sun with that mount! I checked the led before I left for work about 7 this morning. No sun on it and the led was not on. My voltage has dropped to 25.49 from 25.75 in 4 days I don't think it is working.
I temporarily mounted min on the roof of the cab. There was plenty of wire in the kit already. In fact way more than I need. I did not check the gauge of the wire probably 16-18. I will check line loss charts but dont think they put out enough juice to worry about any loss
I just got new batteries (walmart) and the solargizers at the same time. Hopefully with the solargizer they will last longer.I guess I will stick with one across the 2 batteries for now and monitor the voltage every couple of days. I am off the grid so really don't want to run a maintainer tied...
I noticed in previous posts that people are putting more than one solargizer on their deuce's and 5 tons. I installed one but would like to install a second one to up the input as my batteries need the most help in the winter when we have the least sunlight These are the ones from Ted's...
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Snow plow recommendations
Lee, I went to 395/85/20's this spring. So far I have gone to super singles, power steering, heater, and solargize,r my justification is preparing the m35 for snow plow duty. By the time I get the plow on I could have bought an old grader!! But it...
RE: Re: RE: Snow plow recommendations
I have been using m37's for 7 years with 7 1/2-8 foot plows. They work fine till the snow gets to deep. I need something with more weight like the deuce. The trick is to size the plow right. Not to big but long enough to be wider than the wheels at full...
Tom, Your right about power steering. I have it on the m37 and just got an air-o-matic system to install on the m35. By the way do you ever see m621's or the Norweign tractors (swb) for sale? Lockers would be nice.
The truck looks great. I believe the cargo cover is a late upgrade. My truck came with the same 1 piece top. The end flaps were attached. The little windows are nice. I like the colored wheels also.
I have not found a good one recently. Ranchers Supply in Lamar has alot of parts. There used to be one in Pueblo but last time I went by I did not see any military trucks. The one in Comerce City closed
The transfer case PTOs are out there. They can be costly if you shop at the wrong place. It will fit on any M35A2 transfer case if that is what you were asking.
Kenny
Kenny, Thats what I was asking. I haven't found a cheap one yet.
