It's not a sticker. It's printed on a 1/8" thick aluminum plate. Ordered from a place called signomatic.com. Mine was a bit rusty and coming off. It's somewhat expensive but I think its worth it. Turnaround is fast.
Thanks Action. I touched up the paint in some areas and used the Ultra Flat Krylon Camo cans. Know what you mean about the finish. As for the VIN, the truck is for sale but I was thinking exactly what you asked when I posted the pictures here. Plus, everyone that responded to this thread...
Thanks for all the input. My truck is an M1152A1. I think there is a 12v relay. I will check for that and also test the accessory outlet and tcm for 12v as well. These are the hints I was looking for. I'll let you all know what I find for future reference. Thank you.
My truck is dual voltage and I have a 12v fuse box connected to my rear battery which powers three accessories. USB ports, a dome light and a Bluetooth speaker.
Is there any place to tie in the Bluetooth speaker and USB ports to an ignition switched 12v power source somewhere on the truck...
I've been refurbing M1152A1 ECV for the past 6 months. When I first got it the hood did not sit right and was misaligned. I was able to adjust it with the hood adjustment screws. It can be moved front to back and right to left. Not sure if thats what you were looking for.
Is there a light inside this tachometer? If yes, any ideas on how to fix mine? Mine has the military screw on pin connector only. It looks like this one. Thank you.
I recently bought a new black four man top with doors, c-pillar etc. for my dark Marine camo M1152 and it worked out very well and looks good.
My advice would be to confirm it is from Bretton or another US manufacturer.
After checking the hood, I believe the hood latch on the driver's was not fully engaging and locking down the hood tight enough. Thank you all for your input.
Hey All:
On small to moderate bumps I'm getting a knocking/thumping sound from my front left wheel area. Any ideas on what it could be, how to trouble shoot it, or how to fix it?
For those that follow my posts and have helped me in the past, this is not the wheel I recently changed the tire...
I'm working on my 12v and trying to figure out the best path for 12v wires to the space next to the battery box where I put my fuse box. If I want to put in say a usb charger port near the driver, do I need to go outside underneath and back into the battery area? It seems this is the only...
I put three nylon washers between the switch and the switch mount on the front bolt closer to the firewall. This allows for better adjustment and seems to be working well.
My brake lights are not working I believe because of the poor linkage between the stoplight switch and the brake pedal. When I push the stoplight switch forward manually, the brake lights do go on. I tried adjusting the switch on the mount and it still won't move with the brake pedal. Do I...
So I could connect the fuse block below directly to the rear battery pos and neg and run a stereo, light etc. from that as long as the amp draw is relatively low?
If yes, what gauge wire would you suggest I use? I plan to mount the fuse block in the small space next to the battery compartment...
