I am also wondering about the wiring. The wire on the MAIN terminal bar should not be there unless they attempted a 12v conversion. It looks like it goes to the 12v terminal block Please confirm where it goes. Again verify your wiring before hooking up the batteries.

The drivers side alternator does require a ground wire from the alternator ground out to the block. You also need to check the voltages on the two pin excitir plug.

The one on the outside is not required unless you have a military radio setup. I would have to look in the parts manual to see if they as the same.
