Here My Bobber Bed from scrach.

They did make them officially. They made 1. ;) I guess the military figured if it needed a 4x4, the M37 at the time would suffice. Chopping at deuce down to most military guys is like neutering a dog, it is still useful, but it will no longer be 100%.

Last UH-1 Huey retired from the Army

I have never had the privilege of piloting any helicopter, but have been flown in UH-1 Hueys, CH-47 Chinooks, and a couple OH-6 Loaches. The Loach was a hot rod rollercoaster and made me feel like we wouldn't get there without crashing. The Chinook made me sick. But every flight I took in a...

Here My Bobber Bed from scrach.

Looks very cool! Great job! Why the big space between the cab and bed? Making the cab longer? Installing a spare tire carrier?

    closeup pics of M101A3 trailer

Saw a neat M101A3 trailer at the Aberdeen show, with the HMMWV rims installed, wide fenders, etc. I forgot to take a couple pics of it. Anyone own a M101A3 that can take some closeup pics of it for me?

    Springs vs. Blocks

Full springs, hands down. Blocks are okay for 1-2" lift, but on a 4" lift or more on any 4x4, I'd be hesitant. Springs are a much safer way to go.

    New Shelters

That 2nd one looks like some of the first shelters that were used back in the 1950s. I'm not sure if it was called a S-280 at the time, but the setup is similar.
