Thanks to all those who gave some tips and tricks - I did what you all said, took everything apart and degreased everything I had to work with, with brake cleaner, then tried it again. While I wouldn't say it was easy, it was a lot EASIER. The boots are on peecook's truck and everything is 100%.

Which type of tire would be correct for the M37? NDTs (with the "sharper" break on the tread edge) or the NDCCs (the more rounded edge)?

I am not getting the emails either, again....

Just noticed - not only is it missing the front bumper, it looks like the bumper mounts have been removed or cut off. Looks VERY flat nosed....

Just a question - why must it be completely degreased and dry? They are going to be refilled with more grease, what's the hurt in having the parts semi-greasy already?

Was helping peecook today on his M109 shop van, he is getting ready for the ECC and the trip to Aberdeen. One of the things that was on the list of things "to do" was to replace the zippered front knuckle boots on his truck. I have never in my MV owning life had a more pain in the a$$ job than...

I think it's worth $4500 for a working wrecker. C'mon, some of us pay more than that for a deuce with no winch, and this truck is LOADS more useful. BUY IT!

Doubt that any have been made in woodland camo, since they are designed for wartime use in the Middle East. Last I checked there are barely any trees over there where the action is, and unless war is declared in Europe, Korea, or within the borders of the United States, I doubt you'll see any...

Weather.com says weather for Saturday is tentatively 40% chance of showers on Saturday, 61 degrees. Sunday is mostly sunny and 58 degrees. Can't have a good Vietnam display without some rain!
