Oh, no worries, clinto. We get all the guys that don't like you. :-D
PA is way too far away to drag any offroaders from your rally, and vice versa. This past RC rally, I was the furthest south member to show up, from No. VA, as RC is only 3.5 hours up the road from me. GA rally would be 12...
It's a long drive for me, but I'm going to do my best to attend the viewing Friday evening, sometime between 7 and 8 pm. It's the least I can do for an old soldier who will be missed by us all.
COLD WHEELING in November in PA. But since there's not a real rally elsewhere in the late fall, this might help to "spread out" the events I have planned this year. Plus it might be good for a change. I'm in.
They're all over the place. And for your convenience, they've already all been turned into toasters and paper clips, so they are cheap and easy to carry home with you.
You put a gun on it, and it goes round and round and round the ring, as you put round after round after round through the gun, in the direction of your enemy.
Your job, is to NOT BE THE ENEMY.
Your best bet is getting one on eGay, or at a show. I called the manufacturer to replace/repair mine, and you have no idea how expensive they are. They figure they would charge me what they charge the govt., or they won't do it at all.
14.00-24 motor grader tires. Very aggressive tread, but high price.
Might want to see if there is a commercial 24" rim size replacement of a similar size. 14.00-24 NDCCs haven't been available in good shape for YEARS.
That isn't the correct trailer for the M123, is it? I thought that trailer was correct for the M26 Pacific and Dragon Wagon??? I may be wrong....
Great buy! You've definitely got big trucks big aspirations, big dream, and definitely at least a couple big nuts. Maybe some big bolts too...
Yes. The ones sent to Russia were used for cargo, but a lot were also modifed as rocket-launching trucks called "Stalin's Organs". Sent wave after wave of unguided rockets at the Germans.
No, not for myself - I'm too far away to make use of actually going there. I just post the POST PICS graphic to remind you to post pics for our visual enjoyment only. We drool when we see stuff being rescued from salvage yards!
Saw this listed on Gunbroker. It's a rare bird - compared to the CCKW, there are only a handful of US-6s left in the states, most of them went over to Russia via Lend-Lease.

This is an offroad rally, no tables, if that's what you're referring to. However, as friends and hobbyists we do try and swap parts amongst ourselves. I've brought parts for several folks out to Haspin, several others have done same for me.
Me, personally, I think it would look pretty cool!
A restored M211 in a bobbed configuration is certainly better than having it sit in its original configuration in a junkyard.
