I'd be interested to find out what was wrong. That wiring diagram is great. All the others I'd try to use were tough to read. I'd like to be able to personally thank the person who drew it.
Where abouts in Oregon are you? We lived in the Portland area for 26+ yrs., my daughter just moved to...
I don't think it is a grounding problem because the stop/turn bulb blinks when the TS is operating. A grounding problem would mean neither the stop or turn light would operate because it is the same bulb. Because it is only the left brake that doesn't work, and the right side brake does, then...
Thought I should add a bit of clarification: the stop light and TS light are the same bulb; the power to the bulb is constant when in brake mode and the power is on-off, on-off (from the flasher unit) when in turn signal mode. So since the bulb lights when in TS mode, the problem is probably...
Attached is a good dwg. of the M35 wiring diagram. I understand there are a few errors, but they are fairly minor. One thing to be aware of is there is a circuit breaker in the light switch.
The brake/turn signal light do get power from the same wire; on the left side it is #22 which come...
Daneil,
You have my simpathy. I hate HOAs. Within most cities, try finding a house built in the last 20 years that doesn't have a HOA. I don't think it is right for someone to keep their property like a dump and lower everyone else's property values; but I also have a hard time with someone...
At least I know now that I'm not the only one with this problem. I have one broken canopy bow I can't get out. I've tried drilling to relieve the pressure, screwing in a long lag bolt & pulling from the top, same but hammering from the bottom, even the lighter fluid (wouldn't stay lit). Next...
ChevyPowerWagon,
I've been feeling a little left out like you; so I'm going to try to put an event together in South Carolina. I'm looking at the weekend of Aug 2nd & 3rd. I have a post going under Events to gage interest and get suggestions.

Guys,
I've been working on this and have a weekend plan to throw out there for comments/suggestions. How does the weekend of Aug 1 & 2 sound? Here's the plan:
Sat. Meet for breakfast @ 10:00 am @ Cracker Barrel, 2208 Legrand Road, (I-77 Exit 19 & Legrand Road, ) Columbia, SC 29223
11:00...
Brian, Jay,
Thanks for the input. :D I'm thinking along the same lines. If folks have to drive, & with the high cost of fuel we want to make it worthwhile. We could meet somewhere on Sat for a late breakfast/early lunch, then convoy :driver: to an event of some sort, plan on...
Well, after a very frustrating day & 1/2 :x I finally have my turn signal flasher problem figured out.
The TS stopped working several weeks ago & after much testing I felt pretty confident I had a bad flasher unit. I ordered a new flasher and installed it. The TS still did not work, but now...
Hi Folks,
From some of the posts I've been reading, there seems to be some interest in a meeting or event of some sort in South Carolina. Blythewoodjoe is planning a rally for March 2009, but is there any interest in holding a meeting or some sort of event earlier, say in late July or August...
John,
I'm hoping to be able to attend and would be coming down from Fort Mill on I-77. If you're going also, I'd like to meet up with you. I'd be driving my M35A2. This will be my 1st rally and will go if at all possible.

I just ordered a set from MV plates for my M35A2. They had everything except for the shift plate. For $10., they'll stamp the W & D plate. I wasn't able to catch them by phone, but they did respond to an e-mail. I just place the order a week ago & I haven't received the plates yet.

Guys,
Just to clairify: a stock M35A2 cargo deuce would have just one circuit breaker on the firewall and that would be for the horn circuit? (I saw on one circuit diagram that the tractor has a seperate CB for aux. power; and there is a CB for the cab heater if there's one.) The curcuit...
I'm having a similar problem with my deuce: I'm losing all the lights when I use the turn indicator. I must have a short to ground somewhere, like you, but I haven't found it yet. The only circuit breaker I've seen refered to in the TMs or wiring diagams is the one for the horn. I just found...
