M109 She Beast is down - Fuel System Failure

Hey sorry this got left hanging. It was sucking air right before the booster pump, bad hose. She was also hard to start a lot. That's been replaced and loads of other little stuff, she even has new shocks. :) Haven't been thinking much about her, w/ my trailer build.

    M101A2 Brake Lockout Hole

I have one w/ that issue. I just want to lock it out untill I get a chance to redo the whole brack system. The MC was empty when we got it, and right now it only gets used to do dump runs.

    Survival 109 build

That's a secret ;) , but there may be a small half-shelter camp under Rayzer's awning at the Fla Rally.

Man you've come a long way since I was there. Looks great!

    2014 SoCal Fall Rally

Got it on the calander. I'll be up that way already. If all goes well I'll hit it on my way back to our base camp.

    the XM971 "command camper" build

This is new to me, how are you going to hook up the plumbing (water, gas, drain) w/ it sliding out?

    Starting my M146 Build

What's the non-pump line go to? I see that it also comes from the tank.

Hate to say it but, that ladders on the wrong side. You'll never get in that way ;)

    My M146/future camper build.

What he said. Have 4 on site and they all have had leaking roofs. Used that same coating and sealed. As far as temp drop, when I had the ceiling out of the one I've been redoing, you could put your hand on the underside of the roof . . . not hot at all. Sam Franks was shocked when he was here...

    Air-O-Manual Steering

    I'm interested in details :)

    the XM971 "command camper" build

You have to remember that there's not a lot of room underneath for running plumbing up front, big plate under there.

Deuce Front shock civi part numbers

In my non-existent spare time I did a bunch of info gathering on this subject. First off, thank you Peashooter for pushing me in the right direction. I started w/ the info I got from Peashooter about the two different shocks, but I didn't like the lack of real info about them on Amazon. So then...

Have you tried loading it to see how much you can carry before the tire start rubbing? I've thought that would be a good set-up on the 105 behind the She Beast.

    Bunk Trailer for FRFS

Changes. What are you doing to hold that foam up? I see some kind of plate(?) that you're using foam spacers above. Can you give some details on what's going on there? I'm totaly interested in did to solve that problem, just can't get the images clear enough. :jumpin:

    FDC bypass question

Peashooter - I have to say you must have some great power steering if that's your steeringwheel in the first photo. rofl

    FDC bypass question

Why the TM for the LDS? Do we not have a good one for the LDT?
  17. LowTech

    FDC bypass question

I understand that. I was just responding to wether turning it up was the right way to start after bypassing . I know that that does not mean it's adjusted correct as far as starting from scratch :)
  18. LowTech

    FDC bypass question

I turned my down about 12 flats when I bypassed. Like it says, it is wide open once bypassed. Like we're using thin fuel.

    Air Horn Trumpets

I was really hoping to find a source for the trumpets. We have two that are missing, . . . Dirt Tracks made them come loose and fall out.

    Axle Vent Anatomy

Peashooter - I see that you run your fuel return lines in that snakey way, any reason? And what's the set-up to the left of your vent breather?
