    Uses for Deuces

Nope, no worries about being a grouch.. I was just reading an older thread of yours where some numbnuts criticized your use of quotes. You handled it a lot more diplomatically than I would have!

I'm po folks, but I have some cash... I just don't want to spend any more than I have to. I have to answer to the war department. (You've met her) So I'm looking for tires within a half a day's drive or so that that I can go pick up. Shipping is awful expensive these days. You wouldn't happen...

If I can get my hoses and a tire by then I can help out. Pretty sure I should have the hoses but the tire might be a different story.

Physically maybe. This is one of them situations where you don't want to act your age. And you don't. (And that's a compliment!)

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I went to replace the short oil hose on the bottom of the ip, found the one I had made still has the wrong fittings. So I tried tightening the one that's on there, and snap! Broke the connector on the hose. So then as I'm crawling out from under the truck, I notice a bad spot in the sidewall...

    No start after sitting.

Truth At my house, the War Department diverted all manpower to the construction of a new chicken coop last weekend. And there are parts sitting, waiting to be installed on the truck. If I get too many beers in me there may be a mutiny.

What tracked armor options do I have these day?

The War Department told me that if I ever pulled the trigger on something like that, I'd better be prepared to live in it!

    Bonedoc's M35A2 modification thread

Last week I took the hose info from Parttarget.com for the smaller hose to a local hose shop to have one made up.. They didn't have the same diameter hose, and guessed at the fitting size. I guess no one carries that smaller diameter hose (which has a higher temp and psi rating.) Oddly enough...

How long does fuel stabilizer last??

Would the polisher get the fine particles out of wmo? It would be interesting to figure out how long it would take to pay for itself.

    Driveshaft/Axle issues?

Seems like any number of bad things might happen if that rear axle were to stop turning at speed. Who's to say which thing connected to it (or connected to something connected to it) would vaporize?
