    Uses for Deuces

I try to drive mine to work (about 60 miles round trip) at least 2 times a week. More if it's a rainy week. Generally if I'm not on my bike I'm in the truck. I tell myself the better mileage on the bike cancels out the mileage of the deuce. But yeah, my left knee feels it. I'm...

Total brake failure during a panic stop

Yeah pretty much. Cap off the vent tube, install a 90 barbed fitting where the vent in the cap went, mount the reservoir somewhere, drill a hole, and run the hose. Easiest mod you will probably ever do. I ended up buying a kit from real custom trucks. After pricing everything out if I rounded...

    won't back up

Just for my own education.. Could he maybe have been referring to a sprag problem? Sprag engaged and drivetrain bound up? If I understand correctly (which I may not) a sprag will engage if you shift into reverse.

How long does fuel stabilizer last??

Maybe a good use for your used motor oil (after filtering)? Sent from my LG-V410 using Tapatalk

    Hood removal

Yeah that prerequisite step "disconnect ground cable" is a pretty important one! At least they didn't leave that one out.

Total brake failure during a panic stop

I don't sweat it too much. But I do make it a point to look for things that are wrong and fix them as I find them. Check my brakes and fluid before I go anywhere. That's why I installed the remote reservoir; I know at some point I'd be in a hurry and not check, and something bad happen. It's...

They tried to kick my truck out of the neighborhood!

This is partly why I moved away from town. A man's house should be his castle. Or in this case his own private MV motorpool.

    Hood removal

That rubbery guy from Fantastic 4 could do it, no problem! My hinges are so bad that I'll probably end up cutting the bolts off. I just thought the TM instructions were funny.

    Hood removal

The TM cracks me up sometimes. I need to change my hood hinges, so I looked up how to remove the hood. Prerequisites: Disconnect battery cable. Then it says something like, "Working behind the instrument panel, soldier A holds locknuts. Tell soldier B when ready". I don't know if you guys...

    Bonedoc's M35A2 modification thread

I'm tempted to turn that one big piece next to the steering shaft into two much smaller legs. That way I could reach through it if I needed to.

    Bonedoc's M35A2 modification thread

Did you have to cut the shelf that the heater sits on in order to get it to clear the steering shaft?

    Ibis Tek Light Bar Install

Valence, you are such a bad influence.. First the gun ring and now the light bar.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yesterday I installed the remote brake reservoir. Then took the War Department for her first ride (an ammo can delivery.) About 80 miles round trip. She reports that in addition to ear protection, a good support bra is now required equipment for female passengers.

According to govplanet, the m35a2c cost about 56,900 when the government bought them.
