"What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately"
First off, thanks for asking!
I'm working on my auction fresh M1114. Found the nipple side for the quick connect off the power steering hose was missing and got that replaced. How they consider it a quick disconnect when it's located on the...
Pretty much any movie involving the US military in the last 30 years will have a HMMWV in it.
With that being said, I saw one in the movie Planet Terror. Made me realize a vinyl top isn't that secure during a zombie apocalypse.
What's the deal with the CDR valve being removed? Mine was removed and sitting in the back of the truck with a screwdriver hole through the side. Why even bother removing it?
I didn't realize the wires were tagged. That's great information so thanks to both of you. I'll have to check the wires when I get home from work tonight.
Hi all. Long time member but I sold my M35A2 a couple years ago when I moved cross country. I just picked up my latest toy last week. It's a M1114 and of course it was stripped before auction.
I've scowered the TM's and found most of the parts it's missing but these wires have me stumped. Does...
Need a pick up of a delidded M1114 HMMWV after my EUC clears. Doesn't run but there is assistance with loading at the site. I need it shipped from Albany Georgia to west of Gainesville, FL. Anyone interested?
I just read through most of this thread and drooled over the pictures you posted. To say I'm a little jealous is an understatement. That's a beautiful truck! I think it's in good hands.

There will be a tiny...
FWIW, my deuce only whistles at about 1800-2600 RPMS. I've got a bit of a oddball truck though. At some point someone thought it was a good idea to mount a turbo from the older 427 multi-fuel engine. Must have been all they had in stock at the time. That, or the mechanic just didn't care.
There...
That's good to hear. Guess I should visit this forum more often. I could have lent a hand in recovering a surplus trailer from Ft. Lewis. He lives right up the road from me. (but not for long apparently.)
Did you get a trailer yet?
If you need bows for the top, let me know. I've got a spare set for an M105 I'll give you. You helped me out with a headlight once. I'd be glad to return the favor.
