Thanks for the compliment, for prep work I wanted to sandblast, but ended up needling the whole truck than sanding with an osculating sander, worked very well! And no dings or hit marks on the door or hood! Then primed with van sickle, and painted with the behr paint codes found on this site
Dont know about Michigan but I got state farm and pay LESS than a $100. Only restriction is like 1000 or 2000 miles, cant remember. But with diesel these days, cant afford much more than that anyways. That and now me owning a 5 ton! on her. Give them a try might have to put collector plates, but...
What are your guys thoughts on keeping it green, black tires, then do natural wood for troop seats (for the parade) then after take my time with camo. Thoughts?
Whelp... after a week I just got done needling sanding priming and finished the green, sigh now comes the camo. I dont mind working on these trucks mechanically, but paint is not my forte. Post pics soon!
P.S. I read somewhere you cant needle the entire truck due to the thin sheet metal, well...
