Started painting my 923 whoever said this is fun is DEAD wrong! Bumper is the start I got one side of the hood done and the tailgate primed....hitting the worst rust first
Started paint to see what the colors looked like, think ill do the hood today! Word to the wise don't use a paint brush for me I hate streaks and its really hard, for me anyways, to get rid of them while painting. Probably use a roller for the hood. And like others say little runs showed up, but...
Nope all my tires are brand new and still have molding marks. The only thing I can see different is that dumb counter balance on the front tire, I want to get one and see if that solves anything, as I should have it to begin with!
Couldnt find it today must be slow leak, but the ctis did start working. Another question somewhat related to ctis. does each tire need a counter weight I have a tire that either never had one or somehow fell off. there isnt a vibration in my truck till about 55 but from 55 to 60 is does get...
It a new truck had it bout a month, the ctis just gave me a hiccup about week ago, it was corrected by restarting the ctis but that trick hasn't worked this week . There is only one tire that gets low after about 2 weeks sitting. I guess I'll start listening around there? I pray for me and the...
So i know this is about 5 lights, but mine has 4 flashing (except emergency). Book says a vavle is malfunctioning. and its correct I hear it build pressure than it just blows, but I can't find it. Is it possible its the one in the cab. that's were it sounds like it coming from. I would assume it...
I know right, its the as-39000 for the sincgar radio. its hook up to nothing right now, I'm working with a local radio guy in my area to work on a project that will later be revealed
Just got me "new" antenna up. Quick question do guys in the field leave these up when moving. I feel like they will hit bridges overpasses and telephone lines? Or is is strong enough to leave up doing 55, can't be good for it? Anyways I do like the look of it!
Does any one have pics of their 923 with correct 3 color nato camo, or those pics of military drawing of the paint line. Im getting ready to start this paint job and in need of these lines before I erase mine. I would like the drawings because i'm pretty sure mine is wrong being there is 2...
as far as i know none, all your radiator hoses are rubber. plus you have rubber coolant gaskets on the engine. Ken you keep poking my inner bear here as my ctis is starting to have an inflation hiccup. So here is what I'm thinking. I keep my CTIS hook up. do the anti-freeze experiment after...
When I looked in the manual it looks like that the air will exit through the exhaust valve during deflation which means that air will not get to the dryer, or electrical components, and any water in the lines (if any) should be pushed back to the tires on re-inflation. Just my speculation from...
I had to second myself on the CTIS, you'd think if anti freeze didn't rust metal the farthest it would go to the drain, also you'd think it would protect against moisture in your lines. Thought?
I'd like to thank who ever put these goodies in my truck and also GL for not taking them out. Shown: davit crane chain hoist, 5 reflective triangle markers, 2 bottle neck jacks and 2 impact sockets. Not shown: glad hand and speaker from com. system
Hey guys I want to do a test paint job for over all toughness, and adhesion with primer and paint in my bed. But does anybody know were I can find the camo pattern for an M923A2? They were black and white just had lines drawn over the truck with ID numbers for color. I remember seeing them once...
